Our thematic areas

Skills Training Program

Treatment, Care and Support for HIV infected and vulnerable women and girls

We work to ensure women and children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS have access to medical/treatment support, education/income generation support, compassionate care, and access to stigma-free health services. Through community home based care and care taker mobilization, we empower them to live with dignity, resilience, and hope.

Health Services Program

Advocacy, Awareness and Policy Engagement

We advocate for inclusive, rights-based policies that address the intersecting challenges faced by women living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of trafficking, and GBV victims. Through awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement, we challenge stigma, shift harmful norms, and influence systemic change at both community and policy levels.

Education Program

Capacity Building and Empowerment

We invest in the leadership, skills, and economic independence of marginalized women through targeted trainings, mentorship, and livelihood opportunities. By strengthening individual and collective capacity, we foster long-term empowerment and enable survivors to realize their guaranteed rights and become advocates and agents of change.

Advocacy Program

Prevention, rescue and rehabilitation in Human Trafficking

SMS works at the grassroots and systemic levels to prevent trafficking through education, empowerment, and community vigilance. We support survivors with safe rescue/coordination, trauma-informed rehabilitation, and holistic reintegration into society, ensuring that their safety, rights, and dignity are upheld.
